Funeral services for the late Merle Katsuko Suwa, Lanai City Hawaii-born, resident of Monterey Park, will be held on Sat. Sept. 21, 11:00 am at Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple 815 E. First St in Los Angeles. She was preceded in death by her husband Hitose Suwa and survived by her children Dwayne Suwa and Deanne (Toby) Kahauolopua and nieces and nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.
