Matsuye Konanagi born December 1, 1916 in Southern California. Known as "Mitsi" to those close to her, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died Thursday,the 16th of December, 2010. She was loved deeply and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Diane Shigekawa, Yutaka "Ray" (Griselda) Koyanagi, and Joyce Nakazono; her siblings, Dan (Janice) Kishi and Ayame Fernandez, as well as her nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, who all brought her great joy to her throughout her life. They honor her with love and fond memories. On her wishes, there will not be a funeral service. A private burial with family will be held.
