Matsuko Shintani, age 81 passed away on July 17th, at Long Beach Medical Center. Private funeral service were held on Wed. July 24, at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA with Rev. Shuichi Kurai of Montebello Sozenji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is predeceased by beloved husband, Yoshinori Shintani; survived by her beloved daughter, Shirley (Duane) Asao; three grandchildren, Marci, Trisha and Alyssa Asao; siblings, Riyoichi (Fumiko) Shintani, Setsuko Hamada, Kikuko (Soji) Shintani, her sister-in-law, Osami Shintani, Kazuko Kishi and Mary Yamada, also survived by other relatives.
