Matsuko Yamashita Miyasako, 77-year-old resident of Riverside, CA passed away peacefully on April 11 while battling stomach cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband, George Miyasako, their five children: Ken, Dorie, Donna, Glenn and Will, six grandchildren: Emily, Christopher, Nathan, Andrew, Isabella and Nicolas, and daughter and son-in-laws: Marjorie, Joan, and Mike. She is also survived by her two sisters Kazuko Doi of Walnut Creek, California and Misato Sahara of Hiroshima, Japan, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010, 1:00 pm at the Gedatsu Church - 7850 Hill Drive, South San Gabriel, CA 91770 (626) 288-1212.

Matsuko was born in San Jose to parents Mamoru and Haruko Yamashita. At the age of one, her family moved back to Hiroshima, Japan. When she was 22-years-old she returned to Los Angeles, CA and married George. Matsuko and George shared over 55-years together. Mom we will miss you and think of you every day…
