Masuye Sunada, age 94, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on January 6, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. She was a longtime resident of Fresno, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Yoshito Sunada. She is survived by her sons, John (Mary), Samuel (Diane); daughter, Nancy; sister, Fumi Ishihara; brother, Kazuo (Helen) Tamaki; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service was held on January 19, 2015 at Fukui Mortuary officiated by Rev. Marvin Harada of Orange County Buddhist Church. A memorial service will be held in Fresno at a later date.
