Funeral services for late Mr. Masuo "Mas" Kumamoto will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA. Mas was a California-born Nisei resident of Cerritos, but was also a former internee of Rower Relocation Camp during WWII. He served honorably in the US Army Military Intelligence Service. He passed away quietly at his home on October 11, 2015.



Mas was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Toshiye Clara Kumamoto. He is survived by his children, Robert Kumamoto, Jani Masukawa, and Dan (Yuko) Kumamoto; grandchildren, Stephanie and Amy Kumamoto, Kristen Masukawa, Lauren (Max) Taggett of GA, Kevin Masukawa, and Katie and Raymond Kumamoto.
