Funeral services for Master Toshio Kuramoto, 58-year-old Saitama-Ken-born resident of Hacienda Heights who passed away on May 24 at Kaiser Hospital in Baldwin Park, were held on Saturday, June 2 at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

A Master of Shorinji Kempo, he is survived by his wife, Chieko Kuramoto; daughter, Eri Kuramoto; sisters, Ine Hamano, Yae Suzuki, Fujiko Kitasaki and Setsuko Miyauchi; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
