OKITA, MASAYO "Mas"
(90) passed away on Feb. 15, 2009. Dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Toshiharu; children, Joan (Lloyd) Ishimaru, Martha (Walter) Nakano, and Richard (Janice) Okita; grandchildren, Kenneth (Yvonne) Ishimaru, Angela (Stephen) Papayoanou, Janice (Masao) Sasaki, Sara Nakano and Matthew (Elizabeth) Nakano; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Yoshio Terada; sister-in-law, Toye Okita; and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service was held on Sat. Feb. 21, at Fukui Mortuary's Chapel in the Garden.
