Memorial services for the late Masayo "Nancy" Makino, 90-year-old, Burbank, CA born resident of San Gabriel, who passed away peacefully on March 19, 2016, will be held on Saturday, April 9, 11 a.m. at Monte Vista Grove Homes (Marwick Hall) 2889 San Pasqual St. in Pasadena.

Predeceased by her brother, Masami Uchiyama; she is survived by her husband, Jimmy Y. Makino; daughter, Holly Kawashima; grandchildren, Kevin and Bryan Kawashima, and Sharon Ichinose; sisters, Sachiko (Tak) Yoshida and Fumi Houghtaling; she is also survived by many other relatives. Masayo will be dearly missed and remembered as a generous, compassionate person with endless love to give.
