Private funeral services for the late Masaru Matsumoto who passed away on October 4 ^th , were held on October 21 ^st at Fukui Mortuary. Masaru was born in Shingu, Japan and was a resident of Monterey Park.

He is survived by his wife Hisako; children Stanley and Audrey (Leron) Gubler and grandchildren, Nicole, Lauren, and Seth.
