Public visitation for the late Masao Watanabe, 99-year-old, California born resident of Torrance, who passed away peacefully on November 11, 2019, will be held on Thursday, November 21 from 5-8 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St. in Los Angeles.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 11 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W. 182 ^nd St., Torrance, CA 90504.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grayce Hisako Watanabe and son, Ron Watanabe.  He is survived by his sons, Cliff (Shari) and Bob (Chiemi) Watanabe; grandchildren, Wendy (Ryan) Kita, Sean Ueno, Kaycie (Randy Wong) Watanabe, Kristin (Rudy) Delgado, Ryan Watanabe and Jennifer Watanabe; great-grandchildren, McKenna and Carson Kita; daughter-in-law, Irene Watanabe; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
