Masako Hirota, Age 92, resident of Alhambra, CA passed away on August 25, 2017, with her family by her side.  She was born on May 23, 1925 in Glendora, CA to the late Sadamu and Hideko Doi.  A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 11:00 a.m. at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA.
Pre deceased by her beloved husband, Koichi Hirota; she is survived by her children, Akemi (John) Uomoto, Yutaka Richard (Donna) Hirota, Sachi (Arthur) Hashima and Misako(John) Winnen; grandchildren, Kirk (Keirstin) Uomoto, Justin Uomoto, Leslie (Alex) Anzaldua, Russell (Eileen) Hirota, Lauren, Kaydi and Grant Hashima; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Joshua Uomoto and Avianna Anzaldua.
