Private Memorial services for the late Mas B. Umemoto, 77 year old, Washington born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on June.12,
2008, were held on Monday, June. 23, 2008 at Gardena Buddhist Church.
Mas is survived by wife Ruth; son, Ron Umemoto; daughter, Sandy (Murray) Jansen; grandson, Nathan Hiott; granddaugthers, Marley Hiott, Kianna and Tasha Jansen; sister, Sunnie Umemoto; brother, Harry (Kiyoko) Umemoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
