Mary M. Yamada, 67 year-old Nisei, life time resident of Los Angeles passed away on January 29th at White Memorial Medical Center due to complications from heart surgery. Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, at 4:30 pm at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 East Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90013.

Mary was an active member within the Japanese community and will be dearly missed. She was a peaceful and generous person who brought so much joy to many.

She is survived by her nephew, Daniel (Wendy) Yamada; niece, Kathy (Yuji) Higa; grandniece, Kimberly Yamada; and grandnephew, Ethan Higa.
