Funeral services for the late Mary Etsuko Matsumoto, 89-year-old Hermosa Beach born resident of Hacienda Heights who passed away peacefully on December 5th at Keiro Nursing Home, were held on Wednesday, December 15th at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Shumyo Kojima from Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating. She is survived by her beloved husband, Hiroshi Matsumoto; sons, Masuo Howard (Masako), Nobuo Thomas (Yoshie), Masami Brian (Lynn), and Dr. Kiyoshi Fred (Susan) Matsumoto; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brother, Kunio (Miwako) Yoshioka; sisters-in-law, Fumie and Sachiko Yoshioka; cousin, Shigeo (Eiko) Takeyasu; nieces, nephews; also by all other relatives in both US and Japan.
