Obituary
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary Mari Kato, 91 year-old, born in San Francisco on August 24, 1921 and resident of Gardena, who passed away on August 9, 2013, at Torrance Memorial Hospital, will be the following:
l) Public viewing will be held on August 16, 2013 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary, Inc. located at 707 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA.
2) Private burial to be held on August 17, 2013 at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 South Western Avenue, Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA.
3) Public Memorial Service to be held on August 24, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 West 158th Street, Gardena, CA.
She is survived by children, Richard (Eileen) Kato, Daisy Kato, Bob (Kathleen) Kato, and Violet (William) Dresser; five grandchildren; best friends and closest relatives, Jinki (Kiku) Higa and their daughter, Yumiko; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
