Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of MARY KIMIE IMAI, 95, announce that she passed away peacefully at home on the evening of November 10, 2018. She is survived by her children
Kathy Imai-Davis (Gene), Arthur Imai, and 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also
siblings Satoshi Kojima (Jean), and Sachiko Gotanda (Tatsum); as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins.
She worked as a Senior Clerk Typist for the Los Angeles bureau of Public Works Engineering Department for over 32 years and enjoyed going to work every day! She will always be
remembered for her friendliness, helpfulness, genuine kindness and caring for everyone...
especially animals! Her favorite pasttimes were gardening and travelling all over the world with family. She went to 6 continents and over 50 countries, and loved learning different cultures, trying new foods and meeting people.
A memorial will be held in her honor on December 20, 2018 at 1pm at Fukui's Chapel of the Garden and luncheon following.
