Funeral services for the late Martha M. Kawada, 91-year-old, Torrance, CA born resident of Gardena, who passed away on April 30, 2015, will be held on Saturday, May 9, 11 a.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena. (There will also be a service for Martha's son-in-law, David R. Ikemoto [see David R. Ikemoto obituary] at the same time).

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Koo K. Kawada, son Kenny K. Kawada, siblings, Ken Nakaoka, Gladys Tanamachi and Sue Matsushima; she is survived by her children, Arlene K. Ikemoto and Thomas K. (Nancy) Kawada; grandchildren, Dawn (Mike) Ikemoto-Kim, Kristin (Brian) Ishida and DJ Ikemoto, Sharlene Kawada, Shannon (Aaron) Kawada-Belcher, Kenny and Kaylin Kawada; great-grandchildren, Lauryn Ishida, Justin Kim, Brittany Ishida, Landon Kim, Keimi Kawada-Santiago, Quincy and Blake Ishida, Ashlyn Kim, Jacob and Emiko Belcher; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
