Mr. Mark Masamichi Ando, 51 year old, Long Beach, California-born Sansei resident of Huntington Beach passed away peacefully on August 17 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be held on August 22, 3:00 PM at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA. The family appreciates your condolences but kindly ask that flowers be omitted.


Mark courageously battled brain cancer for the past year and a half without losing his sense of humor, his concern for others, or his amazing spirit. He was an avid athlete, a Lakers fan, and a devoted husband, father and friend.


Beloved husband of Linda K. Ando; father of Kyle (8) and Dylan (6); son of Tomiko and Tatsuo Ando; brother of Hazel Ando, Diana (Russell) Ono, Linda and Walt (Sue) Ando; son-in-law of Masayoshi (Michiko) Kouchi; brother-in-law of Kathy (Mike) Sato and Ken (Helen) Kouchi. Also survived by many other relatives.
