Funeral service for MARIYO HIKIDA, 89, an Arizona born Nisei and resident of Los Angeles who passed away on July 24 at the Keiro Nursing Home, will be held on Friday, July 28, 11AM at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., L.A., under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

She is survived by her son, Benjie Hikida: daughters, Leah (Masatake) Kawamoto, Marilyn Hikida and Cindy Hikida; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and siblings, Nellie Mitani, Connie Sugino, Marchie Takesuye, Morie Okazaki (deceased), Lita (Helen) Okazaki and Tomie (Shig) Katsuda.
