Private memorial services for Mrs. Mariko Tsukida, a 99-year-old, Seattle, Washington born Kibei-Nisei and long time resident of Los Angeles who passed away on January 19, 2012 were held at Evergreen Cemetery officiated by Rimban Hiroshi Abiko of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. Predeceased by her husband, Naoyoshi Tsukida. Beloved mother of June Yoshiko (Akira) Watanabe and Mayumi (Robert) Higa; grandmother of 5; great-grandmother of 5; sister of Chisato (Kei) Yamaguchi. Also survived by many other relatives.
