A private family service for the late Mariko "Miki" Tsuruta, 94 year-old San Francisco born Nisei, resident of Rosemead who passed away on October 1, 2013, was held, Saturday, November 2nd at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Dave Fukuyama of Mission Valley Free Methodist Church officiating.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Edee (Clyde) Pinedo; grandson, Matthew (Mananya Pook) Pinedo; sisters, Flo (James) Sakato, Mary Kasai and Rosa (Tok) Ishizawa; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
