Funeral services for the late Mariko Joyce Kawamoto, a 69 year old Inglewood, California-born Sansei resident of Woodland Hills who passed away on August 6 after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's 11 years ago, will be held on Saturday, August 15, 11:30 AM at the San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 9450 Remick Ave., Pacoima, officiated by Rev. Chuho Matsubayashi.
The family requests casual or aloha attire for the service.


Mrs. Kawamoto is survived by her husband, Raymond Kawamoto; children, Craig and Julie Kawamoto; sister, Sharon Nishioka; aunty, Dorothy Takeno of Selma, California. She is also survived by many other relatives in California and in Hawaii.
