UYEMURA, MARIE MERIKO (84) Passed away on March 8, 2011.
Born in Harbor City, CA, and a longtime resident of Gardena, CA, Marie and her husband, Tad, owned the Nisei Oriental Gift Shop in Gardena for over 40 years.
Marie is survived by her loving husband, Tad Torao; son, Chris S.
(Katie) Uyemura; daughter, Cindy M. Tsukamoto; grandchildren, Ryan
Uyemura, Tracy and Eric Tsukamoto; sister, Margaret Misao Nakano;
nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 19, 10:00 a.m. at
Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 West 166th St., Gardena, 90247.
