MARIAN YUKIYE MURATA
Private memorial services for Mrs. Marian Yukiye Murata, 90 year old Monterey, California-born Nisei resident of Torrance who peacefully passed away on October 2, were held on Saturday, October 11 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", officiated by Rev. Masao Kodani of Senshin Buddhist Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Tetsuo Murata; children, Ken (Chiye) Murata and Elaine (Cooke) Sunoo; sister, Nancy Satsuye Horii; grandchildren, Patrick (Linda) and Russell Murata, Grant and Lesley Sunoo; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Lauryn Murata. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
