Private funeral services for the late Mrs. Mari Sakamoto, 95 year-old Washington born Nisei resident of Los Angeles who passed away peacefully on August 21, 2016 were held on Sunday, September 11th at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Bishop Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her family; son, Ken Sakamoto; daughter, Brenda nee Sakamoto (Peter) McLeod of Australia; sisters-in-law, Toshiko Sakamoto of CO and Jean Sakamoto of IL; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
