Margie Noriko Saegusa, age 66, passed away peacefully at home, on April 16, 2014. She and her husband spent many years catering to loyal customers, and introducing the flavors of Japan to Southern Californian,s as the owners of Restaurant "Mai" in Fountain Valley, and then with "Sushi Riki" in Irvine.

Margie is survived by her beloved husband, Takeo Saegusa, her daughter  Yuko, Yuko's husband Roger Wong, her siblings, Tom Okamoto, Yoshiko Nakagawa, Timmy Okamoto, and his wife Jeanne, Kay Okamoto, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins in California and Japan.

Funeral Services will be held at Fukui Mortuary on Sunday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Margie's life at the "Chapel in the Garden", located at 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. A Minister of  Koyasan Buddhist Temple will officiate the services.
