Funeral Services for the late Manabu "Pete" Okada, an 87 year old Dominguez, California-born Nisei resident of Stanton who passed away suddenly on January 7, 2009 will be held on Thursday, January 15, 7:00 PM at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA. The family is requesting that flowers be omitted for the service.
He is survived by his loving wife, Namiye; children, Kathy (late Jack) Nishimoto, Ted, Kenny (Lynn Gay), Joyce (Larry) Sakamoto and Tommy (Loreen); 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons; brother, Shigeru (Amy); sister-in-law, Blanche; who all loved and respected him. www.fukuimortuary.com (213)626-0441
