Funeral services for the late Mamoru Saika, 79 year old Terminal Island born resident of Long Beach, who passed away on Sept. 30, 2011, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, 4:30PM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA with Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.

Mamoru is survived by his loving wife, Hiroko Saika; son, Jason (Racquel) Saika; grandchildren Akemi and Akio Saika; brother, Shoichi Saika of Japan; sisters, Akiko Kobata, Tsukiye Ozaki and Shitomi Ryono. Mamoru is also survived by many other loving family members.
