Private memorial services for the late Mamoru Iwaki, 97-year-old, Los Angeles, CA born, resident of San Pedro, who passed away on May 26, 2018, were held on Friday, June 15 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" in Los Angeles with Rimban William Briones from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Grace Michiko Iwaki and his grandson, Kevin Iwaki; he is survived by his sons, Tim and Dr. Ken (Cindy) Iwaki; grandson, Kyle Iwaki; brother, Ted Takio Iwaki; he is also survived by other relatives.
