Makoto Ogata, 83-year-old, Hawaii, Pahala-born, resident of Gardena peacefully passed away at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center on March 29th. He is survived by his loving family; brothers, Shigeki Ogata, Seigo Ogata, Ronald Ogata; sisters, Mitzy Ozaki, Charlotte Masaki; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral service was held at FUKUI “Chapel in the Garden” on April 11 with Reverend John Iwohara of Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.
