Obituary
Makoto "Moc" Edward Hori, 93, passed peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his immediate family on September 27, 2012.
He was born on June 22, 1919 in Tokyo, Japan and resided most of his life in the Los Angeles area. He will always be remembered as a very generous, fun-loving family man who made light of every situation with his unique sense of humor. He truly loved his family and had a lifelong love for the game of golf and a great compassion for animals.
He is survived by his wife Harumi; 4 children Jan, Mark, Nancy and Mako; 7 grandchildren Mari & Willie Melendez, Kelly & Greg Sato and Skylar, Payton and Colby Sako; 2 sisters Aiko Kaneko and Mary (Kaneyo) Hidekawa.
Private memorial services were held. The family requests no koden be sent.
