Funeral services for the late Mrs. Maki Louise Owens, a 96 –year-old, California-born Nisei and former internee of Santa Anita Relocation Center during WWII, who passed away on December 27, 2012 at Harbor City with her family at her bedside, will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 961 S. Mariposa Ave., Los Angeles CA 90006



Mrs. Owens was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas William Owens. She is survived by her children, Kathy Tomiko Treggs, Steven Gregory (Arlene) Owens and Brian Masaru Owens; grandchildren, Anthony and Brian (Sharon) Treggs, Chiohko Dawn (Shay), Thomas Omari and Anthony Tyler Owens; 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
