WAKI, Mae Ayako, 97-year old Salinas, California-born, Nisei peacefully passed away on August 25 in Gardena, CA. Beloved mother of Terry (Michiko) Waki and Betsy (Mits) Tatsugawa; grandmother of Marc (Monica) and Eric, (Margaux) Waki, Louise Miyamoto, Karen (Gerald) Wilmoth, Kelvin Tatsugawa, and Lori (Curtis) Spackman; great-grandmother of Lucas, Chick, Sean, Curt, Katharine, Kiana, Monique, Jonas and Steven. Also survived by many other relatives.

Private memorial services were held on September 6 at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 South Dale Street, Anaheim, CA under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
