Mae Akita, 90-year-old, Los Angeles-born, resident of North Hollywood, passed away peacefully at Northridge Hospital Medical Center on December 28, 2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joe Akita; She is survived by her loving family, son, Dale (Leslie) Akita; granddaughters, Lindsey (Kyle) Saiki, Chelsea (Dor Wand) Akita and Courtney Akita; great-granddaughter, Casey Jean Saiki; also survived by nieces, Leslie Ikuta, Janet (Verdo) Thomas, Frances Akita, and Christine (Owen) Sulzer and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
