Private funeral services for the late Mabel Yoneko Fukushima, 88-year-old Honolulu-born resident of West Los Angeles, who passed away on Dec. 2, were held on Dec. 18, 2015 with Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.
She is survived by son, Gary (Maryann) Fukushima; daughter, Janet Fukushima; grandson, Nolan Fukushima; brothers, George and Iwao Nakatsu of Hawaii; sister-in-law, Misako Fukushima; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
