Lucille Tamiye Terada, 87, Ruston, Washington-born resident of Pasadena/Altadena, passed away peacefully November 15th. She was a Tsuda University graduate, one of the first women's colleges in Japan.


Mrs. Terada is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fumio and brother Mamoru. She is survived by brothers, Joseph Hiroshi (Artemis) and Iwao (Kuniko) and sisters, Sakae Hasuike, Sadae Tanaka, all of Japan and Kazue Onuma of California; nephew, Kimon (Susan); niece, Phaedra (Mark) Ledbetter; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Japan and California. In accordance with her wishes, funeral services will not be held.
