Lita Okazaki passed away of cancer on Friday, Sept. 26.
Lita was born on July 30, 1928. He was the son of Miyoji and Iki and survived by his wife, Helen; his two sons, Galen and Alan; daughter-in-law, Mary; sisters, Nellie, Marchi, Connie and Tomi; and his beloved grandchildren, Paige, Abby and AJ.
Lita was an architect who retired in February of 1991. He has enjoyed the past nine years of his retirement in El Dorado Hills, Calif. close to Alan, Mary the grandchildren and Mary's parents. He spent his time enjoying the company of his family, especially his grand children and his life long love of the outdoors.
Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90013. Burial will be in the Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
