Lillian Kinuko Nakamaru, an 89-year-old Kahului, Hawaii-born, Nisei, long-time resident of Echo Park, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2015.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Makoto Nakamaru. She is survived by her children, Mark (Janet) Nakamaru, Laurie (Ashok) Sharma, Ward (Grace)Nakamaru, Eric Nakamaru, and Glen (Cindy) Nakamaru; grandchildren, Kimberly (David) Pidancet, Tara Sharma, Marisa (Lorenz) Siddiqi, Nicole Nakamaru, Calvin Nakamaru, Sean Sharma, Andy Nakamaru, Lisa Nakamaru, and Emma Nakamaru; siblings, Mae Morita, Harold Yoshida, Charles (Jean) Yoshida, and Ranceford (Natsu) Yoshida. Also survived by many other relatives both here and in Hawaii.
