A private family service for the late Lillian Tomiko Miyake, 89 year-old Honolulu, HI born resident of San Gabriel, CA who passed away on May 23, 2013, was held on Thursday, May 30 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Kazuaki Nakata of Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her loving family; son, Roland (Barbara) Miyake; daughter, Lillian Yamaoka; grandchildren, Christopher (Alicia) and Daniel Miyake, Jennifer (Jason) Trapp, Stephanie (Fred) David and Michael Yamaoka; great-grandchildren, Derek David, Madison Miyake and Matea Trapp; brother, Henry (Denis) Izuka of HI; sister-in-law, Emiko Honda; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
