Memorial services for the late Mr. Leo Ryo Uchida, an 88-year-old, Florin, California-born Nisei resident of Torrance, and former internee of Manzanar Relocation Camp who honorably served his country in the US Army and who passed away on August 29, 2014, were held privately at Faith United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Suhr.

Mr. Uchida is the beloved husband of Florence Uchida; loving father of Brian Uchida; grandfather of Kenneth Uchida; brother of George (Frances) Uchida; brother-in-law of Jimmy Fukuhara. Also survived by many other family members.
