Funeral services for the late Mr. Larry Koei Afuso, 85-year-old, Lahaina, Maui-born Nisei resident of South San Gabriel and a veteran who proudly served his country in the Military Intelligence Service during World War II who passed away on March 18 were held privately at Mission Valley Free Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Dave Fukuyama.

Mr. Afuso is survived by his wife, Toshiko Afuso; children, Greg Ken (Mary) Afuso of Texas, Joyce Harue (Howard) Leist of New York, and Suzanne Michiko (Alan) Sugano; 5 grandchildren. Also survived by many other relatives.
