Funeral services for the late Kyoko Kay Tani, 83-year-old California-born Nisei who passed away on December 2, will be held on Friday, December 7, 11 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
She is survived by her son, Kohji (Amy) Tani; daughters, Judith (Irwin) Wong and June Tani; grandchildren, Jason, Jeffrey, Jennifer and Julia Tani, Tricia (Alan) Ashimine and Russell and Kelsey Wong; brother, Tatsuo Morimoto; and other relatives.
The family requests casual attire for attendees.
Due to railway construction on First St., the best way to get to the Buddhist Temple will be to exit Hollywood Freeway on Alameda, take an immediate left on Commercial, right on Vignes; the Buddhist Temple is on the corner of Vignes and First.
