Kunika Watanabe, 97, of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband Haruo and daughter Yoko. Survived by daughters Hiroko (David), Nobuyo (Bruce), Satoko (Alex) and 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 7, at 11:00 am at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, 707 E. Temple St. Los Angeles, California, with Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.
