Memorial services for the late Mr. Kuniharu Hihara, a California-born, Kibei-Nisei resident of Monterey Park who passed away on April 9, 2013 were held privately, officiated by Rev. Mark Nakagawa, of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Mr. Hihara is survived by his beloved wife, Kimiko Hihara; brothers, Hiroharu (Izumi) Hihara, of Japan, and Kiyoharu Hihara of California. Also survived by many other family members both here and in Japan.
