Kumao Matsumoto, 83 year old, Puunene, Maui born resident of Torrance, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2017.  He is survived by his wife, Amy, son Mark (Cindy) Matsumoto, daughters Mavis (Robert) Bruder, Lori Tanioka, grandchildren Bryan Matsumoto, Hayley Matsumoto, Matthew Bruder and Brandon Tanioka.  Also survived by sister, Matsue Moore and brother, George (Jane) Matsumoto and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W 166th St., Gardena, CA, 90247.  Aloha attire and traditional attire are welcome.
