Kozo Ohara, age 80, a long time resident of Torrance, CA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 surrounded by his family. A loving husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lilian Masako; children Scott (Sue), Dawn (Craig) Stock, Ross, Lynne (Christopher) Remy; grandchildren Stacey and Matthew Ohara, Craig and Megan Stock, Clare and Gregory Remy; brothers Mitsuro (Nancy) of Gardena, CA and Seiichiro (Meriko) of Japan; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 9, 2009 at the Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St. Gardena, CA 90247
