Koichi Ono, 93, a Hawaii-born resident of Monterey Park, passed away on April 27, 2025 after battling cancer.  He is survived by son Daryl Ono, daughter Cathie (Gary) Tani, grandson Andrew Tani and many nieces and nephews in California and Hawaii.  He is predeceased by his wife Hisako Ono, grandchildren Christopher and Kelli Tani, his parents and all his siblings, and many friends and relatives.

A private family burial service will be held at Green Hills on June 27, 2025.
