Memorial services for Kogen Yamashiro, 72 year old Kaneohe, Hawaii-born Nisei resident of Gardena who passed away on March 26 will be held on Friday, April 11, 10:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W. 182nd Street, Torrance, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. The family requests aloha attire for the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in the name of Kogen Yamashiro to the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California, 15490 Ventura Blvd., #210, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 www.kidneysocal.org.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Yamashiro; brothers, Koshun and Frank (Eileen) Yamashiro; sister, Betty (Jack) Oshiro. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
