Funeral services for the late Kiyoye Watanabe, 96 year old Los Angeles born resident, who passed away on March 4, 2012, were held on March 14, 2012 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission.

Kiyoye is survived by sons, Osami and Kanji Watanabe; daughter, Keiko (Roy) Horita; brothers, Hiroshi and Minoru Matsumoto. Kiyoye is also survived by many other loving family members.
